The project was created due to the increased awareness over the last year that this period is also to be seen as an excellent opportunity for the consolidation and relaunch of a new market that, thanks to the partial equalisation of the previous situation, has made it possible to recommence using new grounds of communication. Many of the young talent photographers in this last period have had access, thanks to their capabilities and flexibilities, to opportunities that weren’t present before.
We strongly believe that it’s necessary to distinguish culture, innovation and coordination between open and collaborative situations. The culture of a new language and the innovation of highly professional coordinated situations collaborating amongst themselves, expresses the market’s necessity to optimise resources as much as possible (whether they be many or just a few) without the unnecessary wastes that have characterised the last two decades.
Thirteen photographers, no collective style, with this collection we haven’t tried to capture a group vision, we’ve collected their forecasts and we’ve drawn them together to represent a snapshot. An image, similar to theirs, of a possible future, a personal interpretation of the Italian scene, that we hope will become in the next 2010 edition a reference point for new talents.
The exhibition shall be opened on the 19th September 2009 at Asolo in the Esedra room of the ‘La Fornace dell’Innovazione’ Foundation and on the 15th October 2009 in Milan at the P4 Temporary Gallery.
